Adding to that is the way that Hades unfurls a complex story that elevates a roguelite into something more than a simple combat loop. Every run is a new adventure, and even deaths, which usually see Zag return to the House of Hades for mockery from his father, are treated as part of the story rather than just an indie porn gay game-y failure state.

When the Night Comes

When Night Comes is a visual novel that is brimming with LGBT+ representation and has polyamorous options as well. It’s also an incredibly compelling story about grief, lust, family, and loss.



The protagonist of WTNC is a renowned Hunter; a creature slayer that’s called to the town of Lunaris to investigate a series of supernatural murders. Despite the town’s reputation as a safe haven for witches, vampires, demons, and Lycans, there’s something dark lurking underneath. It’s up to the Hunter to uncover the truth and keep the town’s residents safe.



Throughout the story, you’ll meet a variety of characters including Finn a vampire who leads the local clan, Ezra a witch who runs a small shop, Piper a disgraced Hunter, Omen a friendly demon, and Alkar a lycan hybrid. All of the main cast are available for romance, though it’s entirely possible to complete the indie gay porn & sex game without a relationship and explore the story without any romantic sex at all.



Despite the melancholy feel to the story, it never feels claustrophobic or downbeat. This is largely thanks to the poetic scripts that almost float off the page. The character designs are equally striking, with unique and recognizable features for both human-like and otherworldly creatures. The characters have a distinctly realistic feel to them, which helps to make them more relatable.
