Whether or not the player character actually romances any of the dads is a moot point in Dream Daddy, an engrossing dating sim that offers plenty to laugh at and think about. It may be a little bit on the cheesy side, but it also does a lot to subvert genre conventions in a way that is both fresh and fun.



The fathers in this cul-de-sac have a lot going on behind the scenes, with some of them dealing with personal issues that threaten to derail the rest of their lives. It’s a refreshing thing to see in a date gay game, with each dad bringing their own sense of humor and authenticity to the table.



The game’s writing, art, and soundtrack are all strong, with the story and characters providing most of its oomph. The only thing that could have made this more perfect would have been a little bit more depth in the stories of some of the dads, but even so, it’s still a great experience. Laughs will be had, and hearts will be broken, all in the name of a good time.



No Thank You!!!

A gay dating sim that takes a dark approach to its story No Thank You!!! is an adult PC visual novel that’s not for the faint of heart. Nudity, sexual content and overall mature scenarios are all a part of this erotic BL dating gay game from developer Parade.



Our protagonist gets hit by a car while trying to protect another man and loses his memories in the process. The guy he saved decides to take him in and offers him a job at his jazz bar, Sotano. Haru accepts and moves in, only to find the bar is also the scene of some pretty shady dealings.



Unlike many eroges that tend to be heavily censored in the West No Thank You!!! goes full steam ahead with its explicit content. You’ll find all sorts of male erotic scenes and even get the option to turn body hair on or off for the main characters (though textual references will still be present). The CGs are all rendered in a style that takes a few cues from traditional eroge as well.
